In order to reserve a date for your child’s birthday party, a $100 booking fee is required. This non-refundable fee is deducted from the total cost of the package you select. The balance is due the day of the party and can be paid by cash or credit card.

Not only do you get a high quality show, you will also get all the extras necessary to make your child’s birthday party super special.

Matt’s birthday magic show is perfect for children turning 4 to 10 years old. Being a family entertainer, his show will entertain guests of all ages, including the adults. Matt will bring material suited for the age group of your guests.

While it is possible to perform the show outdoors, an indoor performance is best. Matt’s deluxe backdrop cannot be setup outside, and distractions cannot be controlled or reduced outdoors. For the comfort of your guests and magician, please plan for an indoor performance.

A good rule of thumb is to start the show 15 to 30 minutes after the party starts. This will give everyone a chance to arrive and settle in. It also allows for Matt to have everything set up and ready before all of the guests have arrived.

The included backdrop is 10 feet wide by 8 feet tall and can be set up in most living rooms and basements. Generally, it will be set up against a wall and the performance space should be about 6 feet deep. The show can be performed in smaller spaces if necessary, without the backdrop. Access to one grounded (three prong) electrical outlet is needed.

It is best that food and drinks be saved for after the show. With the excitement during the show, spills can happen that could have been easily prevented. Also, because volunteers are brought up to help, clean hands are needed. Cheese dust coated fingers can stain the props, making them less than presentable for the next party.

Matt’s schedule can only fit so many parties, so other parties will be turned away once you reserve your time slot. Because of this, the booking fee is forfeited for cancellation of any reason. Should you need to reschedule due to an emergency, the booking fee may be applied to a new date within 60 days of the original, Sunday-Thursday evenings only and based on availability.
